Hydrogeo was commissioned by St. James’s Place Wealth Management Limited (SJP) to support the acquisition and redevelopment of the former Bridges Garage premises in Cirencester.
Environmental Monitoring and Site Remediation
The garage, formerly a Renault Car Dealership and Texaco fuel filling station ceased operations in June 2008. Bridges Garage was purchased by SJP who secured planning permission to develop the site as temporary car parking to serve their UK headquarters St. James’s Place accessed off Tetbury Road, Cirencester
Hydrogeo provided a full range of environmental consultancy services in order to successfully satisfy planning conditions assigned to SJP ownership and change of use. Works progressed by Hydrogeo comprised site investigation, controlled waters risk assessment, formulation of a remediation strategy and remediation verification works.
The temporary car park was successfully completed and associated planning conditions signed off by Cotswold Distract Council in 2012.
